Indigenous Vegetables
The farm we have been earning weekly in profit by growing and selling traditional vegetables such as black night shade and spider plant. Income from growing and selling these vegetables has enabled us to afford utility bills, farm daily wages and invest in diversification through poultry keeping, dairy farming and fruit production.
Refurbished Greenhouse
We have have used the local available resources to make a green house. This has been on experimental basis to test how crops perform in greenhouse. The performance has been great, we are anticipating on putting up a modern green house on the farm, to ensure we maximize on productions and mentor many local farmers to embrace it.
Honey Production on Forest land
we have a bushy part of the farm near the flowing river Yala banks, we bought ten beehives and embarked on pilot bee farming, we have so far harvested honey more than five times, with the success of this venture, we have increased the number of hives on the farm, our aim is to have over five hundred hives along the shores of the river
